It has been one year since Canal Boat Diaries star Robbie Cumming brought his narrowboat Naughty Lass to Oxford for a major makeover.

In that episode, viewers saw him cruise along the Oxford Canal before mooring up to upgrade his floating home.

Mr Cumming teamed up with specialist narrowboat window firm ChannelGlaze, which was hosted by local business College Cruisers.

The window replacement proved a complex job, but it transformed both the look and comfort of Naughty Lass, making the boat warmer, quieter and lighter inside.

During his stay in Oxford, Mr Cumming also stepped away from the towpath to explore the city’s landmarks, including a visit to the former home of one of his comedy heroes, Ronnie Barker.

Canal Boat Diaries follows the presenter as he travels Britain’s inland waterways on his narrowboat, documenting canal history, boat maintenance and everyday life afloat for a primetime audience.
