It has been one year since a dog walker said he was left feeling concerned after a huge "python" was seen at an Oxford beauty spot.
The man, who has asked not to be identified, saw the massive serpent while walking his pet at Port Meadow at around this time last year.
A shirtless man wearing swimming trunks was standing in the water at the main bathing area in the outdoor space.
Photographs show what looks to be a large python wrapped around his torso, which has since sparked concern amongst dog walkers.

This was not the first time that those living in the city had been on alert due to a snake in public.
Back in July of 2024, a warning was issued to citizens in the form of a poster, which was spotted attached to a lamppost.
The poster featured a photograph of a cobra and said: “Attention! Missing snake.
“Highly venomous, do not approach. Do not call the police or they will take her away from me.”

Last year, a spokesperson for Oxford City Council said: "Although there are no specific laws prohibiting people from taking their pet snakes in public, there are concerns about the potential stress caused to people unexpectedly encountering one as large as this, particularly those who have a specific fear or phobia about snakes.
"Taking such a wild animal, even a semi-domesticated one, into a completely new environment where there are lots of people may also impact on its welfare.
"If this owner is seen with this snake in public again, and anyone has concerns, they should phone the police on 101 to report the incident."
