Scales of Justice results from Oxford Magistrates' Court

DEVONTAE PATTERSON, 24, of Ladenham Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of being in possession of a weapon in a private place, in Oxford, on April 22 this year, namely a zombie knife and a ninja sword. Patterson was ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £40 and a fine of £50. Orders were also made for the weapons to be destroyed.

BIBIN CHACKO, 29, of Cowley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to being in possession of a class A and a class B drug, namely cocaine and cannabis, in Oxford on August 8 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £61 and a fine of £153. Orders were also made for the drugs to be destroyed.

ANNABEL REYNOLDS, 31, of Lyford Close, Drayton, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating committed against a man in Abingdon on April 9 this year. She was ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £60 and a fine of £150.

MATTHEW HAPGOOD, 45, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to using violence to enter a premises in Didcot on February 24 this year. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal damage in Didcot committed on February 23 and April 21 this year. He also pleaded guilty to one count of being in possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, in Didcot on April 21 this year. He was ordered to pay a fine of £100 and compensation of £600. An order was also made for the drugs to be destroyed.

SCOTT PUSEY, 37, of Dollicott, Haddenham, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW without third party insurance at Chinnor Road, Lewknor, on March 19 last year and failing to surrender to police bail at High Wycombe on August 14 last year. He was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen for analysis when ordered to do so by police at Lewknor on March 19 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £200, a victim surcharge of £120 and a fine of £200. He was also banned from the road for 16 months.

CHARLOTTE ORCHARD, 44, of Cullerne Close, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to going equipped for theft and handling stolen goods in Abingdon and Oxford on March 10 this year. She was ordered to pay costs of £85 and she was banned from contacting a man called Simon White for 12 months. She must also complete 26 days of an accredited programme.

PAUL COULTHARD, 26, of Cambuslang, Glasgow, pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous driving in a Vauxhall Insignia at Launton Road, Bicester, on October 22 last year. He also pleaded guilty to drug driving, driving without a licence and without third party insurance on the same occasion. He was jailed for 10 months and banned from the road for 24 months. He must also pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £187.

PEARCE MCGONAGLE, 39, of Laburnum Grove, Didcot, was found guilty of being in possession of a knife in a public place in Didcot on March 14 this year. He pleaded guilty to burglary other than dwelling and common assault in Didcot on the same occasion. He also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the conditions of being on the sex offenders' register in Oxford on July 9 last year. He also pleaded guilty to burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal in Wallingford on February 18 this year and one count of theft from a shop in Didcot on October 21 last year, to the value of £56.60. He was handed a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He must also complete nine months of drug rehabilitation and he was banned from Asda in Didcot for six months. He must also comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of 30 days. He must also complete 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and orders were made for the knife to be destroyed. He must also pay £150 in compensation.
