Scales of Justice results from Oxford Magistrates' Court

JABED ALI, 42, of Russell Street, Oxford, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen for analysis when ordered to do so by a police officer in Oxford on April 3 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £500 and a victim surcharge of £114. He was also banned from the road for 18 months and ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work in 12 months.

BENJAMIN DAVIES, 22, of Cherry Tree Way, Witney, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in an Alfa Romeo at Dry Lane, Witney, on November 18 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114. He must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work in 12 months and he was banned from the road for 20 months.

GARY WOODS, 39, of Manor Close, West Hagbourne, Didcot, pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone while driving at Hagbourne Hill, Didcot, on August 15 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £80 and a fine of £200. He was also given six penalty points.

RYAN MCCLENAGHAN, 26, of Cleavers, Chinnor, pleaded guilty to using racially / religiously aggravated harassment / alarm / distress by words / writing / behaviour in High Wycombe on April 5 this year. He was ordered to pay a fine of £80.

CARL BLEACH, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to one count of theft from a shop in Oxford on December 5 last year, to the value of £20. He also pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Oxford on February 27 this year. He was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He must also pay costs of £85.

RICHARD HAMILTON, 40, of Asquith Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to one count of using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and criminal damage in Oxford on September 25 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and must comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of 10 days.

CHARLOTTE MCCOLLIN, 34, of Botley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from shops in Oxford on December 16 and 23 last year. The total value of the items stolen was £390.86. She was ordered to pay a fine of £100.

SIMON FAULKNER, 58, of Angus Court, Thame, pleaded guilty to having an axe in a public place and using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence in Thame on October 22 last year. He was given a six month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He must also complete 12 months of mental health rehabilitation and 12 rehabilitation sessions. He must also comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of 12 days and an order was made for the axe to be destroyed. He must also pay £50 in compensation.

RACHEAL AJIBADE, 50, of Western Crescent, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle without third party insurance at the junction of Farmfield Road and Springfield Avenue, Banbury, on September 30 last year. She was ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £56 and a fine of £140. She was also given five penalty points.
