A man who carried out a violent assault has been jailed for 10 months.
Alex Marshall, 30, of no fixed abode, was sentenced after pleading guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, criminal damage, and assault by beating.
The offences happened in Carterton on February 10.

Marshall was also ordered to pay a £187 victim surcharge.
Magistrates said the offences were "so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified".
The court said this was in part because of Marshall’s "flagrant disregard for people and their property."
A restraining order was also imposed.
Marshall is banned from attending an address in Swinbrook Road in Carterton while under the influence of alcohol or drugs until April 8, 2028.
The court described the incident as "high risk domestic violence."
Marshall also pleaded guilty to causing damage to a door.
