Voters are being reminded that photo ID will be required at polling stations for the upcoming local elections.
Elections are being held for Oxford City Council as well as Cherwell District Council on Thursday, May 7.
Additional seats in Banbury Calthorpe and Easington, and Bicester West will be contested following recent councillor resignations.
On election day, eligible voters must present an accepted form of photo identification at the polling station to receive their ballot.

Acceptable forms of ID include a passport, driver’s licence, Voter Authority Certificate, or an older or disabled person’s bus pass.
Niki Nixon, director of communications and external affairs at the Electoral Commission, said: “If you’re planning on voting in the upcoming English local and mayoral elections, you’ll need an accepted form of photo ID.
"You can find detailed guidance on the Commission’s website about what forms of ID are acceptable to use at a polling station on election day.
"These include a passport or driver’s license.
“If you don’t have one of the forms of ID listed, there is still time to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate through your local council.
"Don’t risk being turned away at the polling station, start planning now.”
The deadline to apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate - available through local councils - is 5pm on Tuesday, April 28.
The certificate is intended for anyone who does not already have an approved form of photo ID.
Polling station staff will check IDs on the day, and anyone without valid identification will not be able to vote.
A private area for ID checks will be available upon request.
Voter ID is required for the May 7 elections in England but is not needed for the Senedd and Scottish Parliament elections taking place the same day.
