A warrant has been issued for the arrest of an Oxford burglar after he failed to attend his sentencing.
Mohammed Najadi, of Rivermead Road, Oxford, had been due to be sentenced on Thursday, April 16 in connection with a burglary from a house in Charles Street in September 2024.
Najadi, 37, pleaded guilty to burglary. He previously appeared in court for the same offence in October last year.
On that occasion, the court heard the homeowners were on holiday at the time of the burglary.

It was discovered by a cleaner who found that a sash window had been smashed.
A laptop, TV, jewellery and sports goods were stolen with the value estimated at £23,000.
The court heard Najadi has 35 convictions for 83 offences, including numerous shoplifting offences.
In October last year, Judge Maria Lamb agreed to defer the sentence.
The Judge said: "You have caused a lot of misery by what you did. I hope you have listened carefully to what was said.
"It would be best for us all if in the future you committed no further offences. I hope you have turned a corner and put your criminal behaviour behind you.
"I want to see you continue your volunteering and stay out of trouble."
The Judge also ordered him to start saving money with a view to pay the victim's compensation in the future.
