An inquest hearing into the deaths of two men who died in an M40 crash last year is set to take place in the coming months.
The double-fatal crash happened between junction 9 and 8A on March 24, 2025, when a grey BMW 340i driving southbound between junction 9 and 8A crossed the central reservation into the northbound carriageway where the road bends near Shabbington.
The BMW was believed to be stolen from the Oxfordshire area and two arrests were made in connection with the incident.

The crash claimed the life of Jan Szeder, 34 from Evesham, and 20-year-old Harvey Michael Bird from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
A pre-inquest review hearing into both deaths was due to take place at Beaconsfield Coroner's Court last month.
Now, another pre-inquest review hearing has been listed to take place at the same court on March 5 at 3.35pm.

In a tribute released on March 28 through Thames Valley Police, Mr Szeder's family said: “We are sad to announce the death of Jan Szeder on Monday, March 24 as a result of a road traffic incident in Oxfordshire.
“As a family we will miss him greatly and he leaves two children who he was devoted to and we wish to thank everyone for their kind words and sympathy at this difficult time.
“We would appreciate to be left alone to grieve in peace at this difficult time.”
Following the crash, a 22-year-old man from Southam, Warwickshire, and a 19-year-old man from Evesham, Worcestershire were both arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and burglary.

The M40 remained closed in both directions overnight on Monday and throughout the day on Tuesday between junction nine for Bicester and junction 8A for Tiddington.
At the time, National Highways said in a statement: "The M40 is closed in both directions between J9 (Bicester) and J8A (Tiddington) following a serious collision.
"Traffic caught within the closures has been released via a combination of rearward relief and being escorted slowly past the scene.
"Thames Valley Police is on scene and carrying out collision investigation work.

"Although there is currently no estimate for a reopening time available it is expected that the road will remain closed throughout this mornings peak travel period and into the afternoon."
The road fully reopened on Tuesday at about 6pm.
The county was rocked by the the deaths, which coincided with a separate fatal crash on the A34 in Abingdon at about 8.50pm on Monday in which another person died.
A spokesperson for Oxfordshire County Council said at the time: "This was a truly dreadful day of tragedy.
"Our thoughts are with the friends and families of those who lost their lives or suffered injury and we thank the emergency services for their response to the incidents."
