An Oxfordshire secondary school has been forced into an emergency closure, with pupils told to stay at home.
Orion Academy on Knights Road in Oxford has been suddenly shut today (Monday, January 5).
The secondary school and sixth form will not be open as there is currently an issue with the water supply.

A note has been left on Oxfordshire County Council's unexpected school closures webpage explaining the emergency closure.
The comment said: "The boiler has failed, so there is no hot water on-site."

Orion Academy is expected to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday, January 6), provided that the issue is resolved, but this is, of course, subject to change.
The school caters to students aged 10 to 18, serving boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and other associated learning difficulties, all with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
They offer a specialised, supportive environment focusing on personalised learning for these specific needs within the Oxfordshire area, preparing students for further education or careers.
