"Emergency services including Thames Valley Police are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene assisting with traffic management."
For all those that would usually travel that way, National Highways has now advised a diversion route.
From the A34 northbound, motorists should leave at the M4 junction 13 interchange.

There will then be another T junction with the A417 (Charlton Road) at which drivers should turn right and join the A417.
