A four-vehicle crash on the M40 resulted in a road closure and a woman being taken to hospital with injuries.
The motorway was closed southbound just over the border from Oxfordshire between junctions 13 and 12 (Warwick and Gaydon) on Tuesday (October 14) morning.
Warwickshire Police and the ambulance service were in attendance with hour-long delays for motorists.
Revealing more details about the crash on Tuesday evening, the police force said a female passenger from the Blue Golf was taken to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries.

"Apologies if you were delayed on the M40 southbound this morning we attended a four vehicle Injury collision just south of Junction 13," said the police force.
"It took ourselves and National Highways some time to clear the scene and make the road safe to re open."
While on the way to the incident, Warwickshire Police also dealt with the driver of a Mercedes Sprinter recovery van, who drove down the hard shoulder and blocked the way for emergency vehicles.
"The driver was nothing to do with recovery for the crashed vehicles and was just being impatient," the police force added.
"The vehicle was stopped and seized after checks confirmed it hadn’t been taxed since April."
