The latest series of Big Brother is well underway now, and as viewers get to know the contestants more, it becomes harder to say goodbye when they’re evicted.
Contestants will complete a range of tasks while in the House, but when Big Brother announces evictions, the dynamic changes quickly when some go home.
This year, three contestants were put up for eviction after spending just hours in the House on the launch episode for the new series.
It came after presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best opened the ITV2 show, saying “the OG is back, and Big Brother is here to play”, before revealing the first eviction would take place on the series’ first night.

At the start of the show, Odudu said: “For one unlucky person, the journey will end before it’s even got started, because tonight one housemate will be evicted on night one.”
You might be wondering who has been evicted and left the show so far – let’s take a look.
Who has been evicted from the Big Brother House so far?
Emily
The first eviction saw three contestants at risk of going home – Emily, Sam and Caroline.
It was the end of Emily’s journey in the Big Brother House though.
Emily is a 25-year-old political events manager from Northampton and before the show she said she was looking forward to meeting her fellow housemates.
When asked what she would bring to the House, Emily said: “I'll definitely bring a lot of noise. But also, a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. I'm so enthusiastic that people often think I'm being sarcastic. “However, I will definitely bring fun, so I'll make sure that nobody is bored in the house.”
Gani
Gani Khan, a night supervisor at Pizza Hut and aspiring actor from Greater London, became the second person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
The 39-year-old was booted from the programme after getting fewer votes than Zelah.
Discussing his exit, he told Will Best and AJ Odudu on the Late and Live show: "I seriously don't know what to even say right now."
George
George Gilbert was technically the third person to leave Big Brother's 2025 series, although it wasn't through a public vote.
The 23-year-old actor-turned-parish councillor from Braintree was removed from the house for the "repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour".

Cameron B
Cameron Barnes became the third person to be officially evicted from the Big Brother house.
The 25-year-old personal trainer from Bolton was up against Elsa and Richard in a live vote but wasn't saved by the public.
Speaking to AJ Odudu and Will Best upon his exit, he said: ""I'm feeling good. It's good to be out. If you stay in you're with everyone again, like your adoptive family. If not, you're seeing everyone, seeing different faces."
