A vehicle recycling company has been crowned the overall winner at the 2025 Enterprise Oxfordshire Awards.
ASM Auto Recycling, based in Moreton, just outside Thame, took home the top honour after also claiming the Environmentally Sustainable Business of the Year Award.
Judges praised the company’s circular business model, which includes repairable vehicle auctions, the sale of quality reclaimed parts, and innovative recycling partnerships.
The business was recognised for its measurable emission reduction targets, community engagement, and workforce empowerment.
It says its approach to the climate crisis is rooted in "innovation and long-term resilience".
From reducing single-use plastics and generating renewable energy on-site to rethinking traditional recycling models, it aims to show how the automotive industry can evolve to cut emissions and protect the environment.
A spokesperson for the company said: "At a time when businesses face increasing pressure to meet environmental standards while safeguarding jobs and wellbeing, these awards shine a spotlight on local companies rising to the challenge.
"ASM Auto Recycling’s win shows how innovation and responsibility can go hand in hand, setting an example for others across Oxfordshire.
"For Oxfordshire residents, the message is clear: the county is not only fostering business success but also building a greener, fairer, and more resilient economy for future generations."
The sustainability award was sponsored by ALP Synergy Ltd, a company that plays a key role in supporting Oxfordshire’s small businesses and local economy through its work with Enterprise Oxfordshire.
