US Vice President JD Vance is staying in a Cotswolds manor near Jeremy Clarkson's farm worth £8,000-a-week.
Mr Vance and his family will begin their summer holiday today (Friday, August 8) with a stay at Chevening, Foreign Secretary David Lammy’s Grade I-listed mansion in Kent, according to national reports.
The pair are said to have developed a warm friendship, bonding over their difficult childhoods and shared Christian faith.
After visiting the Foreign Secretary, Mr Vance will be moving on to the Cotswolds, specifically Oxfordshire.

The Daily Mail reports that the Vice President will be renting a "sprawling manor house" priced at £8,000 a week.
Found in an unnamed tiny hamlet, the house is hidden behind a 15-foot-high stone wall.
The private getaway includes six acres of sprawling gardens and is not far from Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm.
Former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter Mr Clarkson bought the location back in 2008 and has since purchased a pub in the area as well.
The Daily Mail adds that the manor house, which was built in the 18th century, is "swarming" with secret service agents.

These agents are dressed in regulation navy blue sports jackets with khaki chino trousers and are reportedly guarding the property around the clock.
When quizzed about the Vice President's upcoming arrival, one of the team told the national newspaper: "We can't tell you anything."
The owner of the mansion was also tight-lipped with the Daily Mail, adding: "Thanks so much, but we have no comment to make."
Locals did speak, though, with one saying to the newspaper this week: "There has been a lot of activity at the manor this last few days. It is hard to miss.
"Security absolutely everywhere. Men dressed identically surrounded the property with earpieces and dark glasses.

"Blacked-out Mercedes vans shuttling people around every few minutes. We have never seen anything like it. It's like something out of a film."
A new circular helicopter landing pad had also been mown into the grass on an adjoining field.
Mr Vance was elected alongside President Donald Trump in the US election last year.
Hailing from Middletown, Ohio, the 40-year-old is an author, attorney, and Marine Corps veteran, as well as a politician.
He is the 50th US Vice President and is expected to stay in the role until the next election in 2028.
