The cause of death for a man who was found unresponsive at home is unknown, an inquest opening heard.

Stephen John Caffari of Ashridge, Chinnor, Oxfordshire, died on July 12.

An inquest into the 52-year-old's death was opened at Oxford Coroner's Court by HM senior coroner Darren Salter on July 22.

The inquest opening heard that Mr Caffari, who was born in High Wycombe, was found unresponsive.

A police officer verified his death at 4.40pm.

A post mortem examination has been conducted and his cause of death is 'pending further analysis', the court heard.

The full inquest is set to take place at the same court on November 6 at 12.15pm.
