Police are on the scene of a "serious collision" with a road expected to be closed for hours this evening.
The crash has taken place on the A44 with the road closed between the B4030 Enstone Road junction and the A4300 junction between Chipping Norton and Enstone.
Thames Valley Police has urged motorists to avoid the area and has issued a public appeal for witnesses to provide information.

A spokesman for the force said: "We are on the scene of a serious collision on the A44.
"Diversions are in place and road is closed between the B4030 Enstone Road junction and
the A4300 junction.
"We would ask motorists to avoid the area and the road is likely to be closed for a number of hours into this evening.
