Rightmove is continuing to market a home as Jeremy Clarkson’s, despite the television star denying he ever lived there.
For almost two weeks, the property portal has been advertising a mansion in Yorkshire as the “childhood home of the Top Gear and Clarkson’s Farm legend himself”.
On the market for £1.475 million, the five-bedroom Grade II-listed house is situated in Tickhill, not far from Doncaster.
It has four reception rooms, a large living kitchen and three bathrooms.

However, last week Mr Clarkson – who now lives on Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton – took to social media to deny he had ever lived at the house.
Rightmove value the house at almost £1.5 million (Image: Rightmove) Responding to another user, he posted: “Keep reading about that. Never lived there.”
Despite this and being contacted directly by the Oxford Mail, Rightmove has continued to advertise the “famous home” as Mr Clarkson’s with a Facebook post still making the claim.
