Banbury: Police appeal after woman in her 80s goes missing

A woman in her 80s has gone missing from an Oxfordshire town, sparking a police appeal. 

Barbara, who is 86-years-old and whose surname has not been disclosed, was last seen walking up Highland Road in the Hardwick area of Banbury at around 4.15pm today.

Thames Valley Police has said she is 5ft 5in tall, and was wearing dark blue trousers, a mauve jumper, black shoes and a black and white check jacket.

Her hair is permed and white in colour. She walks with a three wheeled scooter. 

In a statement issued, Thames Valley Police said: “If you have seen Barbara or have any information please call 999 quoting the reference 43250074396.”

Police guidance states a person will not be in trouble with officers for going missing.
