Harry Potter stars have reunited at a Christmas event held at Oxford University.

Lucious Malfoy and his house-elf Dobby were characters who appeared throughout the Harry Potter film series after debuting in the second movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Antagonist Malfoy was played by Jason Issacs while the computer-generated Dobby was voiced by Toby Jones OBE.

The two actors reunited last week at Christ Church Cathedral on Friday, December 6 for a special appearance at Macmillan’s carol service, Follow the Stars.

Both Mr Issacs and Mr Jones gave Christmas readings throughout the ceremony which also included carols for the crowd to sing along with.

Mr Jones, known for his roles in Detectorists, Dad’s Army and Mr Bates vs The Post Office, also gave two readings to get everyone in the festive spirit at the event.

One of the readings that Mr Isaacs performed was an entertaining excerpt from the Santaland Diaries which the actor implemented an American accent for.

Choral music was sung by the Oxford Bach Soloists while Oxford bishop Steven Croft also was in attendance in the chapel at Christ Church College.
