Police in Oxfordshire have recovered a stolen car and stopped a van for cable ties on its licence plate.
An Audi was stopped in Burford which had been stolen from Cumnor on Tuesday night.
A statement issued by Thames Valley Police Rural Crime Taskforce said: “PC Uren and PC Batchelor recovered this stolen Audi in Burford this evening. It had been stolen in the early hours of today from Cumnor. Forensics will be conducted.

“PC Uren also stopped this van earlier near Pusey due to having cable ties on the licence plate. Checks showed the van was in order and was being driven by a business.
"The cable ties were due to the plate falling off earlier in the day. They appreciated the check due to the mowers and strimmers in the back.
“'Stop me after 10pm' stickers given for their trailers are back at the depot.”
