Four of the 10 female referees in the RAF are now based at RAF Brize Norton after the base's latest cohort completed their training and certification.
These women represent a "significant milestone" in promoting gender equality within sporting officiating, RAF Brize Norton said.
They have shown "exceptional dedication, skill, and passion" for the role, "proving the world of officiating is open to all, regardless of gender," it added.
Newly qualified referee, Squadron Leader Danielle Burgess, said: "It is a huge honour to be part of the wider referee community.
"We’ve worked hard and we are all extremely excited to represent not only ourselves and the RAF but also all the women who aspire to follow in our footsteps."
The newly qualified referees will officiate in a number of local, regional, and national sporting events.
Group Captain Jon Smith, chair of the RAF Football Association, said: "The potential of women’s game in the service is significant.
"To realise this potential, the RAF Football Association is determined to provide equitable opportunities for women in the service to play, coach, and get involved in the sport.
"A cornerstone of that growth is a vibrant female officials’ community, which the team at RAF Brize Norton are trailblazing in impressive style.
"My congratulations and thanks to all those involved - I hope their stories inspire more women to follow in your footsteps."
