A man shouted racial abuse at a woman and spat at her car in a supermarket car park, police have said.
He is then believed to have harrassed her as she was attempting to leave the shop.
Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the "racially aggravated public order" in Banbury, which happened at around 1.15pm last Saturday (September 14).
Police say a woman in her 30s was reversing into a parking space at Tesco Extra in Lockheed Close when a man, who was parked a few spaces away, left his vehicle and approached the woman's car.

The man started shouting racial abuse at the victim and spat at her car, before waiting for the victim to finish her shopping where he continued to harass her as she was attempting to leave.
The woman was not injured in the incident.
The man has been described as white, aged between 30 and 40-years-old, around 5 foot 5 inches tall and balding.
Police say he was driving a white Audi A3 with the partial registration number GY11.

Investigating officer PC Jacob Lelliott, based at Banbury police station, said: “I’m appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or who may have dash-cam which has captured what happened to please contact Thames Valley Police.
