County, district and town councillor for Bicester North, Donna Ford, has warned local motorists about the closure on social media.
Oxfordshire County Council said the road will be closed to facilitate the changeover of traffic management for works being undertaken as part of the Symmetry Park development on the A41.
The Traffic Regulation Notice from the council temporarily prohibits the use of the highway by all motor vehicles.
The noticed, which was signed off by director of environment and highways, Paul Fermer, added: "No access will be maintained within the closure. Please follow the suggested alternative route to residential areas."
It also warned motorists to follow diversion signs in place.
