The statement added: “On Wednesday, officers visited a victim of a scam to check on their welfare and offer fraud prevention advice, before attending a liaison meeting at Mind in Abingdon with several other agencies.
“Today (September 19), officers have attended a group for the over 55’s at Abingdon Baptist Church, where they engaged with members from one of our seldom heard communities.
"PCSOs from the team have also been carrying out patrols in our hotspot areas to address our priorities, including antisocial behaviour and retail crime.”
The statement also said "officers from the Abingdon Neighbourhood Team have had a busy week so far".
