A viral couple who go on pub crawls across the country have revealed the best pubs in Oxford.
Dale and Holly Harvey from Nottingham started their quest in March of 2022 as they had grown tired of seeing pubs closing down so decided to go out and support them.
The intention is to eventually visit every pub in the United Kingdom with the couple visiting six per cent of the watering holes so far, having been to more than 3,700 of around 60,000 pubs so far.
Arriving in Oxford earlier this month for their crawl, 37-year-old Dale and 32-year-old Holly fell in love with the city.

“With regards to Oxford, we were blown away by its beauty and by how vast the city actually is,” they said in a statement.
“The history and the architecture alone of the place are mind-blowing."
The married couple picked out three Oxford pubs as a recommendation to fellow drinkers and tourists.
“Pub-wise, I feel like we barely scratched the surface of what there is to do there and it's going to take us a number of additional visits to make sure we get through them all," the couple added.

“I think The Bear and The Chequers were the two that really stood out from the pack, with an honourable mention to The Turf Tavern for the sheer beauty and history that surrounds all three.
“They are incredible pubs and should be visited by anyone who loves a great historical environment to sit and have a quiet pint in.
“We can't wait to return and see some more.”
