A crash on a major Oxfordshire road caused delays of up to 50 minutes this morning (September 11).
The crash resulted in a lane closure on the A34 northbound past east Ilsley between the M4 and the A4185, causing traffic to queue for four miles.
Police and traffic officers attended the incident.

A picture was sent in by a motorist which showed the queues and officers at the scene.
The multi-vehicle crash caused severe delays to motorists and buses, which increased throughout the morning and resulted in debris in the road.
At 11.09am National Highways confirmed on social media that the debris had been removed and all lanes had been reopened, with residual delays of less than 15 minutes on the approach.
