He appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 29 where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
Hill was handed a two month prison sentence, suspended for two months. It was suspended as it has no previous offences and there had been a ‘change of circumstances’.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154.
A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the dagger.
