POLICE officers stopped a man and placed him in handcuffs near Wallingford on Friday (September 6).
The incident took place in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford - near Wallingford - at about 2pm on Friday.
A man, wearing a grey tracksuit, was placed in handcuffs by an officer as witnesses looked on.

His car, a black Vauxhall Insignia, was stopped at the side of the road and was being searched by a second officer.
Items were being placed on the floor and on top of the vehicle.
It is unknown if the man was arrested or charged beyond being placed in the handcuffs.
Thames Valley Police have been asked by the Oxford Mail for a comment on the incident.
