A SENTENCING date has been set for a young man caught with 60 child sex abuse images.
Ashley Bourton, of no fixed abode, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (September 3) charged with three counts of making indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child.
The 26-year-old was caught on May 23 last year in Wallingford with 31 Category A images, 25 Category B images, and four Category C images – with Category A being the worst kind.

Bourton appeared for his first hearing at the lower court where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
The defendant’s case has now been sent to Oxford Crown Court. He is due to be sentenced on October 22.
He has been granted unconditional bail until that date.
