The traffic lights on two single-lane historic bridges are not working.
Oxfordshire County Council has warned that the signals on the A415 at Newbridge and Howes Bridge in Standlake are faulty.
The police are aware.
Drivers are asked to approach with caution.
The two bridges carry the Abingdon to Witney road over the River Thames.
