A stretch of the A34 in Oxford will be closed from this evening.
The southbound carriageway between Botley and Hinksey Hill, south of the city, will be closed from 9pm tonight (Monday, September 2) until Tuesday, September 3, at 6am.
Oxfordshire County Council advised drivers to plan ahead.
The lane closure is to allow barrier work to be carried out by National Highways.
It comes as a long-term closure of the Botley Road stretch of the A34 continues because of rail improvement work.
A warning about the closure was issued today on social media by Oxon Travel, which is managed by Oxfordshire County Council.
