The traffic signals have stopped working in Bicester on the A41 at the junction with Pioneer Way.

Drivers are being urged to approach the scene with caution.

OxonTravel, a traffic account managed by Oxfordshire County Council, issued a statement about the faulty lights at 2.20pm on Sunday.

It was later confirmed the lights had been fixed by 2.50pm with traffic flow returning to normal levels.

It comes as there has been disruption on the roads elsewhere in the county with a crash taking place near Thame on the M40 northbound on Sunday lunchtime.

The incident occurred near junction seven with one lane closed as a result.

Thames Valley Police has been on scene as well as traffic officers.
