An annual donkey derby drew large crowds to Bampton on bank holiday Monday (August 26).
The donkeys had travelled from Weston-Super-Mare to give some children a ride and to provide many of the adults with a chance to place a bet.
Sandfords Field hosted the event organised by The Society for the Preservation of Ancient Junketing (SPAJERS).
SPAJERS chairman, Nick Rivett, said: "What a fabulous occasion today was, with everyone enjoying themselves and coming together to support a very worthwhile charity. It has made all the effort worthwhile."
A range of stalls offered ice creams, pin the tail on the donkey, spin the wheel and face painting, and there was also a BBQ, beer tent, tea tent and craft stalls.
The next SPAJERS event will be the Fireworks Display in Bampton on October 26.
