SARAH MOONEY, 36, of East Street, Bicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving on January 13 this year as well as one count of driving without a licence. She was given a community order to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity and 80 hours of unpaid work. She was also disqualified from driving for 36 months. There were court costs of £85.
KARL KUHNE, 46, of Jerome Way, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to breaching a harassment order on June 22 this year by attending an address in Bicester he was prohibited from attending in Bicester due to an order put in place at Oxford Crown Court on March 1, 2021. He was given a 20-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to complete nine months of alcohol treatment with Turning Point and six months of mental health treatment. There were no orders for costs.
SULEYMAN BULUT, 43, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress on July 17 this year in Bicester. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, and one count of theft from a shop on July 16 after stealing £12.75 worth of beer and a hat from Sainsbury’s. He was fined £150 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were no other orders for costs.
ASIF HUSSAIN, 36, of Boscombe Road, Birmingham, was found guilty of harassment with violence and harassment put in fear of violence between September 30 and November 6 last year. He was found guilty of harassing a woman over a prolonged period and causing her fear and distress. He was jailed for 22 weeks, suspended for 24 months. He was also ordered to complete 30 days of a specified programme. He will also need to complete five days of rehabilitation activity and 150 hours of unpaid work. There were court costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £154.
LEIGHTON BROUGHTON, 23, of Osney Close, Banbury, pleaded guilty to one count of common assault against an emergency worker. On May 18 this year he assaulted a police constable in the exercise of her functions as such a worker. He was jailed for 18 weeks and ordered to pay £75 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.
