A Bicester man recently won two gold medals at a track and field championships in Derby.
David Kuester won gold medals in the hammer and heavy hammer at the British Masters 53rd Track and Field Individual Championships at the Moorways Stadium in Derby, which took place Friday, July 26 until Sunday, July 28.
He also achieved a new seasons best in the male 80 age group and won bronze medals in the discus, javelin and shot putt.
Mr Kuester achieved a distance of 30.36 metres in the hammer and a personal best of 12.07 metres in the heavy hammer.

In discus he achieved a distance of 18.84 metres, javelin 11.92 metres and shot putt 8.05 metres.
The distances for javelin and shot putt were a season best.
Mr Kuester said: "Despite still suffering from a right shoulder injury, the results are very pleasing indeed."
In May Mr Kuester won gold in the male 80 plus age group British Masters Weight (Throws) Pentathlon Championships.
He came first in four events, which were hammer, shot putt, discus, and heavy hammer, and came third in javelin.

Mr Kuester has been a competing athlete for over 55 years and a qualified track and field coach since 1976.
He is also the founder and life member of Bicester Athletics Club.
Bicester Athletics Club was founded in 1982 and caters for all ages from the age of eight.
