A children’s author has officially opened a Witney primary school’s library following its refurbishment.
Naomi Joslyn was at Tower Hill Community Primary School in the town last week to officially unveil its revamped double decker bus library.
Ms Joslyn, who lives in Sutton Courtenay, near Abingdon, is the author of the Molly McDrew series of educational children's adventure books.
One of the best known tales is Molly McDrew and the Great Fire of London which tells how Molly travels back in time to London in 1666 using her magic blanket.

The revamped bus is a key component of the Good-rated Moore Avenue school's ongoing reading and literacy initiative.
Headteacher Charley Eaglestone said: “We are incredibly grateful that Naomi was able to join us.
“It is great that this fantastic space and resource is finally open again for the children to enjoy.
“At Tower Hill, we firmly believe in the power of reading, especially during the early years.
“We are committed to integrating as many opportunities to read into our curriculum as possible as we look to foster a love of books among our pupils."
