A lost dog has been found by police in the early hours in an Oxfordshire town centre.
While on patrol officers found a lost dog in Faringdon in the early hours of Wednesday (June 26).
After being taken to the Drove Veterinary Hospital in Swindon the dog's microchip was scanned but the owner can not be located.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "While on patrol ICR officers have found a lost dog in Faringdon town centre in the early hours of today (Wednesday, June 26).
"Officers have taken the dog to Drove Veterinary Hospital, Swindon.
"The Vet has scanned the microchip and unfortunately the owner could not be located.
"If you recognise this dog, please contact the vet or police, using the references below.
"VET Ref: 3431891. TVP Ref 179-260624"
