Garages in a poor state of repair and too small to take modern cars will be demolished.
Annington Property Ltd intends to demolish a number of garages on a garage court next to 21 Kenley Avenue in Carterton.
It is in an area of MOD housing around Stanmore Crescent.
Planning documents state: "These existing garages are in a relatively poor state of repair and of a size which prevent most modern cars being able to successfully be stored within them."

A separate planning application is to be submitted providing a new car parking court with dropped kerbs for some of the properties.
There will be no loss of car parking for the estate as a whole, said Annington.
A bat survey accompanies the application to identify that there is no current bat activity in any of the garages.
A permitted development application to West Oxfordshire District Council seeks prior notification consent for the work.
This is a procedure where an applicant must notify the planning authority of proposals before exercising permitted development.
