TRAIN services to London are now running at a reduced speed due to a 'defective track'.
Chiltern Railways has warned customers this afternoon (June 16) that the track running between Leamington Spa and Banbury is 'defective'.

As a result, services towards London are now running at a reduced speed.
Warning commuters, Chiltern Railways said in a statement: "Apologies, due to a speed restriction over defective track between Leamington Spa and Banbury trains have to run at reduced speed on the line towards London."

It is not known exactly what the defect with the track is and how long it will take to fix.
