Occupants of a vehicle have been arrested on suspicion of theft after enquiries from police found the vehicle they were towing had been allegedly stolen.
Thames Valley Police stopped the vehicle this morning (Thursday, June 6) on the A34 near Oxford.
The occupants were driving a four-by-four which was towing a caravan, and police found through enquiries that the caravan was suspected to have been stolen in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday, June 5).

Officers from the road policing team arrested the occupants of the four-by-four on suspicion of theft.
A spokesman for the policing team said: "Roads policing officers located this four by four towing a caravan on the A34 Oxford and brought it to a stop.
"Enquires showed the caravan was stolen in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
"The occupants of the four-by-four were arrested on suspicion of theft."
