A main road near Bicester has been closed due to a "medical episode", police have confirmed.
The A41 was closed in both directions between the M40 junction 9 for Bicester and the B4030 Vendee Drive.
Both carriageways have since reopened with traffic wires showing that there are no delays heading towards the M40.

An AA statement reads: "Road closed and slow traffic due to crash on A41 Southbound from B4030 Vendee Drive to Wendlebury Road.
"Sensors show traffic is now flowing Northbound with no delays."
There were also delays on the M40 near junction 9 with an average speed of 20mph.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson confirmed the incident as a "medical episode" but could not provide any more information.
