A FARM shop bookkeeper has pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position in Oxfordshire.

Sally Burborough, 47, of Bicester Road, Aylesbury, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday (June 4) charged with one count of fraud by abuse of position.

It was heard that between June 15, 2016 and January 11, 2023, she committed an act of fraud while working as a book keeper for Haseley Farm in Oxford by dishonestly making a financial gain for herself.

Burborough had her plea hearing at the lower court on Monday and will now be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on July 4 at 10.30am.

It is unknown how the incident took place.

Burborough could face a term of imprisonment or an unlimited fine.
