A list of people convicted at Banbury Magistrates' Court recently.

GENARO PADUANO, 28, of Banbury Road, Kidlington, admitted drink-driving in Kidlington on July 13. He gave a reading of 41 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £240, costs £50 and victim's surcharge £15. Banned for 12 months. Also admitted failing to go to court on July 13. Fined £100.

LAURIE VAKIL, 49, of Oddington, convicted of speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on December 5. Fined £90, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15 and three points on licence.

MARK FLETCHER, 44, of Sutton, Witney, admitted two charges of assault on May 13. Jailed for 120 days because it was another assault while on a community order.

TIMOTHY HUGHES, 20, of Manston Close, Bicester, admitted driving with no insurance in Bicester on March 9. Fined £210, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15 and six points on his licence.

RICHARD WYATT, 26, of Shearwater Drive, Bicester, admitted using a vehicle with insufficient tyre tread on January 24 in Milton. Absolute discharge because his employer failed in their duty to maintain the vehicle.

JOHN ROBINSON, 40, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Banbury on July 20. He gave a reading of 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £200, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15. Banned for 16 months.

MICHAEL MEADOWS, 46, of Evenlode, Banbury, convicted of assault and causing fear or provoking violence in Banbury on January 17. Sentenced to 120 hours' community work, victim compensation £250, costs £600. cor DANIEL GEE, 19, of Horton Road, Middleton Cheney, admitted possession of cannabis in Adderbury on April 26. Conditional discharge for two months.

STUART HUTCHINGS, 33, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing a sat-nav system, charger and stand from a police vehicle on July 15, and possession of cannabis resin on July 17. Community order of 100 hours work, £100 compensation to Thames Valley Police and costs £60.

MARK KIPPING, 29, of West Bar, Banbury, admitted drink-driving on June 24 in Sir Henry Jake Close, Banbury. He gave a breath reading of 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Prison sentence of eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, costs £60, banned for three years.

ANDREW MARSHALL, 23, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing four bottles of beauty products worth £87 from Boots in Chipping Norton on June 27 and stealing Hugo Boss fragrance from Debenhams in Banbury on July 8. Probation for 12 months and drug rehabilitation for nine months.

ADRIAN FANNON, 30, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted stealing toiletries from Co-op in Banbury on August 1. Twelve-month conditional discharge, costs £30, compensation £7. Also admitted handling stolen goods, a sat-nav system belonging to the police in Banbury. Twelve-month conditional discharge, costs £43.

HOLLY WEBSTER, 22, of Wroslyn Road, Freeland, convicted of careless driving, failing to stop after an accident in Witney on February 27. Fined £320, costs £200, victim's surcharge £15 and five points on her licence.

JAMES GEORGE, 36, of Cotswold Terrace, Chipping Norton, convicted of speeding at 48mph in a 40mph zone on the A40 Cassington railway bridge. Fined £125, costs £125, victim's surcharge £15 and three points on his licence.

KARL VALE, 18, of Netherwoods Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted attempting to drive a car when over the drink-driving limit in Banbury on August 2. He gave a breath reading of 85 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £150, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15 and banned from driving for 17 months.

SHAUN MCSHANE, 20, of Cherwell Avenue, Kidlington, admitted possession of cannabis in Kidlington on July 13. Fined £75, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15. Fined £100.

SEAN PRIOR, 35, of Bayswater Road, Headington, Oxford, convicted of two charges of making off without paying for petrol worth £77.58 at Waterstock on April 27 and £90.80 at Kidlington on June 7. Twelve months' probation, attend drug rehabilitation for six months, compensation of £168.38, costs £60.

TONY BLAY, 55, of Overton Drive, Thame, admitted failing to give a driver's identity between January 3 and February 1. Fined £600, costs £60, victim's surcharge £15 and six points on licence.
