The bomb squad has responded to reports of a hand grenade in a shed on a residential street.
Images show the Ministry of Defence’s explosive ordnance disposal team at the scene in Victoria Road near the Claremont car park in Bicester yesterday (May 30) at 1.30pm.
Thames Valley Police officers attended the incident alongside the bomb squad who have since confirmed the item was a training device.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of what appeared to be a hand grenade in a shed at an address in Victoria Road, Bicester, at around 1.20pm yesterday (May 30).
“Officers attended, along with the Ministry of Defence’s explosive ordnance disposal team, who confirmed it was a training device.”
