Plans for new Costa Coffee and Burger King drive-thrus have been approved by Cherwell District Council for Banbury.
The drive-thrus will be replacing the Car Motor Services on Southam Road, which will be demolished.
The planning application was registered on January 26 and the application was granted on May 24.
The proposed application outlined plans for drive-thru lanes, external seating areas, landscaping, parking and a new junction to provide access from Southam Road.
Vehicular and pedestrian access will be available directly from Southam Road via the new junction and the existing footpath, developers had stated.

A planning paper from the applicant said: "Given their location, it is important that the proposed buildings should have a high-quality contemporary design with added visual interest whilst reflecting the functional requirements of the coffee shop and restaurant use and drive through facilities.
"Both buildings have their own distinct and contemporary design aesthetic and the units will be a complimentary modern addition to the evolving Southam Road street scene."
The transport statement said that in June 2023, Cherwell District Council refused planning permission for a similar scheme for a Costa and a Burger King at the site due to reasons surrounding the impact on the character of the area and highways.
The site is located approximately 800 metres north of the centre of Banbury, to the west of Southam Road, and has close proximity to the A422, the A423 and the M40, as well as a number of bus stops and Banbury railway station.
There will be 25 car parking spaces available, which includes four electric vehicle charging spaces, three disabled spaces and two staff spaces, as well as cycle parking in a 'visually secure area' opposite the building entrance.
A planning statement also said that the existing premises of the motor vehicle repair garage and car showroom are considered as being of "poor condition and dilapidated appearance" and present a "run-down appearance on Southam Road".
The Car Motor Services undertakes MOT testing, vehicle repairs and servicing, and offers a hand car washing service in the former car showroom.

The statement concluded by saying: "The design proposals have been developed having due regard to the particular location, characteristics and constraints of the site and to meet the relevant functional requirements of the building.
"The building has been designed to be attractive and modern in appearance and is articulated and modelled to minimise its mass and scale.
"Robust and durable materials have been selected for aesthetic quality, low maintenance and sustainability.
"The design meets all relevant considerations and is entirely appropriate in scale and form for this site."
The application was passed by Cherwell District Council's planning committee.
