Large crowds are expected to turn out and wave the rainbow flag at the third Witney Pride LGBTQ Parade and Festival.

The parade will form up outside Cineworld at Marriotts Walk from 11.30am on Saturday (May 25) where Voice Box Choir will perform.

The march through the high street will set off at 12pm.

In the afternoon there will be live music, stalls run by local businesses, a bar run by Little Ox Brew Co and entertainment on The Leys recreation ground until 7pm.

The line up includes WOAPA, Camilla Lewington, The Kokroachez, Gordon Mackay, Oxfordshire Drag Collective, Kyle Finn, Buttercross Ukelele Group and the headliner at 6.15pm in Laura King is Madonna.

Organiser Beth Sherlock said: "It's going to be even bigger and better than previous years, so tell your friends and family and come to this fabulous free event for all LGBTQ people and allies.

"Let's make the Parade even bigger this year and don't forget to make some noise as we march through Witney Town Centre."

June marks National Pride Month celebrating LGBTQ+ identity and raising awareness of issues facing the community around the world.
