There will be a range of events celebrating Pride at an arts centre in Didcot this June.

Cornerstone Arts Centre is inviting the public to join from June 13-15 for a variety of activities showcasing the LGBTQ+ community.

Highlights will include drag cabaret, free family-friendly crafting, life drawing, and yoga.

'The PHWOAR Next Door: Return of The Queers' will take centre stage on June 14, presenting an line-up of drag performers and burlesque artists from across Oxfordshire.

Following the success of last year's show, the group is looking forward to returning to Didcot.

Cornerstone said it is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion among its customers, and as part of its Pride festivities, it has arranged a free crafting activity for all ages to partake in.

Visitors are invited to contribute to the centre's communal artwork on June 15 between 11am and 2pm.

The arts centre will also offer Pride-inspired workshops for adults throughout June.

Participants can join 'Queer Life Drawing' on June 13 or 'Queer Yoga' on June 15.

Councillor Georgina Heritage, cabinet member for communities at South Oxfordshire District Council, said: "All of us at the council and Cornerstone Arts Centre welcome everyone to join in our Pride celebrations.

"These events are safe spaces for all to have fun and be themselves throughout June."
