Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper made an appearance at a rally in Bicester which was attended by hundreds of young farmers last weekend.

The Oxfordshire Young Farmers County Show and Rally was hosted by Bicester Young Farmers and took place at Swifts Farm, Bucknell near Bicester on Saturday, May 18.

Around 300 young farmers members took part in 75 competitions with Faringdon Young Farmers Club being named the overall winners.

The event ran from 9am to 5pm and Kaleb Cooper gave a tractor demonstration between 11am and noon.

Speaking to the National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs, Mr Cooper said: “We are at the Oxfordshire Young Farmer rally today.

“Obviously there are a lot of young farmer rallies happening over the next couple of weeks and I want to wish every member and every young farmer out there the very best and do as best as you can.

“I’m sure a few people are going to win out there and I want to see every picture, tag me in your pictures and I will share as many as I can on Instagram.”

Amy Cox, club leader of Bicester & Islip Junior Young Farmers Club, said: “All the members had a fantastic day demonstrating a wide array of skills and talents.”

At the event, there were exhibition classes such as Art, Cookery, Floral Art, Woodwork, Metalwork and Photography.

Practical Classes were also held with activities such as bricklaying, Wotsit throwing, go-kart races, floats and a tug of war taking place.

Alongside the main ring, there were over 50 trade and craft stands, vintage tractors, a fun fair, food vendors, animals and more.

Trade and craft stands included Aimal Antiks, Preloved Country Clothing and Tutts Clump Cider.
