A man in his 80s has required hospital treatment after a “road rage” incident outside a town supermarket.
Police were called to the High Street in Wallingford after receiving reports of an assault by the traffic lights near Waitrose on Wednesday (May 15) between 11.15am and 11.30am.
The suspect is described by police as a white man, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, and was “smartly dressed”.

The man in his 80s suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital which he has since been discharged from.
Case investigator Susan Glass, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“Please could any motorists who were in the local area around the time of this incident check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could help with the investigation.
