Video footage is circulating online following reports of an assault on a staff member at Lidl in Banbury.
Police were called to the Lidl at Spiceball Park at around 5.30pm yesterday (Friday, May 17) to an altercation outside the store.
Footage online shows a person throwing a plant from outside the store at a security guard before police arrived at the scene.

A member of staff attempted to talk to the person involved who continued to throw items at the security guard, footage shows.

The Oxford Mail has contacted Thames Valley Police for more information on whether there have been any arrests yet in connection with the incident.
